Saw this on Facebook. Would it work? Where's the fallacy?

Nope it wouldn't. Not at all. Make it 60, and maybe. but, a million bucks , even tax free, is not much these days.

I'm already retired, but I like it. It's a proposal that is Local and that is the only type measure that can repair local problems.

what about people who are already retired?

Where's the fallacy?
$1 million multiplied by 40 million people is a total of $40 trillion. For scale, the US federal government spends around $4 trillion a year in total.

That....

The fallacy might involving coming-up with the $40T!

And then justifying why the next batch of retirees don't get their $1M!

The government could of course just print the money, of course the 1 million would be worth about 70 000 in todays money after
