Here's pretty much all you need to know about this story

Haglin was fired from her teaching position and now works as a stripper using the name “Bambi.”

'I'm the victim,' Iowa teacher who had sex with student says on 'Dr. Phil'

Dr Phil gets a bad rap but he is right most of the time, "You have got to be dumber than a box of rocks to share naked pictures with a 17-year-old boy"

This is the type of "teachers" our public school have these days, just sad.

Did you ever watch "The Crush" with Alicia Silverstone?

It could happen.

THere is a lot more to this story. For instance:

Human Resources Director Jill Cirivello, Washington High School principal Ralph Plagman and Washington's activities director Mike Johnson all resigned abruptly this summer. It came after allegations emerged that substitute teacher Mary Beth Haglin engaged in a sexual relationship with a student at Washington High School.

In separation agreements, the district agrees to pay each administrator a severance package paid out over four years. Those payments total $348,411, with Plagman getting $169,749, Johnson getting $135,428 and Cirivello getting $43,234. In exchange, both the district and the administrators agree not to sue each other and expressly deny any wrongdoing, saying "employee acknowledges that liability is disputed and expressly denied by the district". It does not specify what wrongdoing or guilt it is referring to.

All women are "victims" when it comes to being caught committing criminal acts. That's a simple fact of the criminal justice system in your country and mine.

I've never understood why women want to be equal to men under the law - they've got it so much better under the law in virtually every circumstance. A man and a woman kidnap and rape a young child - man gets life or death penalty, woman gets 10 years and early parole. A man and a woman rob a bank - man gets 20 years, woman gets 5 years and early parole. Man and woman marry and have 3 kids - woman has an affair with coworker and husband files for divorce - woman granted custody of kids, house, and half the man's income/wealth. Man and woman meet, have unprotected sex, woman gets pregnant - man who wants child is out of luck if woman wants an abortion - man who doesn't want child is out of luck and saddled with 18 years of child support if woman wants child.

The list goes on.

Every good defense and family law attorney knows that women are the weaker sex and in need of protection under the law. It's no surprise that this woman would be playing the victim card, probably coached to do so by her attorney.

Dont you worry your pretty head about that, the feminists gave up the equality plan a long time ago, they decided that they can do better.

Teacher gets busted, loses her job and you are here bitching that women get away with stuff just for being women... too funny.

They don't want to be equal under the law. Do you see many women fighting against special treatment in any area of their life? Nope. Hell, Trump called Hillary a "nasty woman" and they freaked out and call him sexist even if he used similar language against men in the past.

Why do I get the feeling that this thread is getting overrun with angry virgins?

You get what you pay for.
If politicians at every level need to keep taxes down to get re-elected, this kind of stuff is the result. And it's not just teachers. If you want to attract quality people to any job, you need to pay them. If you can't, you'll have to settle for whoever shows up.

This is a local story where I live and has been all over the local news. Some random points and thoughts...

- She was working at a strip club called "Woody's", but is no longer working there. (Didn't know 'Bambi' was her stage name.) I do not know if she is working now, but I suspect she was/is desparate for money and is why she went on Dr Phraud. As dumb as she is, I don't believe she would do that for free.

- Two days after that episode aired she filed a motion in court for a change of venue, citing intense local media exposure. This one made me *facepalm*. Well, duh!, if you didn't want so much media exposure you shouldn't CHOOSE to appears on national television. If I were the judge I would deny her request simply based on that.

- He came to visit her one night after work at Woody's, and she got in more trouble for violating a no-contact order, though it's unclear if she summoned him or he came on his own. It was caught on camera, which is suspicious in its convenience.

- When you watch her interviewed... I have only seen her on the local news, I did not watch Dr Phraud... it is clear that she is still a high school kid, mentally.

- He is now 18, and supposedly they are 'together' again, though that is only rumor.

- The principal of the school had 49 years in the district, 35 of those years as principal of that school, and was basically forced out. IMO, he was the fall guy to save the district leadership. Many parents who want her prosecuted feel that the principal was unfairly railroaded.

- Her re-hiring at another position after the situation came to light was something that fell through the cracks. Just my opinion. Procedures need to be tightened, and somebody should probably pay a penalty of some sort, but the principal wasn't involved in that and it shouldn't have been him.
