If we were to have lanes that criss cross the highways, with turn offs and periods in the barriers, then there would be even worse traffic. but, if we had only one lane leading into the c.b.d. there would be much less frustrating waiting time, as, the one lane would be cleared in the center of town quickly.
This means that there should be more 'barriers' dividing the lanes coming into the c.d.b. on the freeway, and, then more lanes leading off at various instances. this would be quick to organize and very cheap too. the lanes should be divided into single lanes, and the intersections where people turn into town should be more plentiful.
