It started a few months ago and now it's everywhere. I'm getting invitations on Facebook to attend house parties for these leggings, I'm seeing my friends post pictures of themselves wearing the leggings, I'm seeing people who think leggings look good with a normal-length shirt showing off their leggings-covered butts..... I can't take it anymore.

Is this happening where you live? It's called Lula Roe and here are some of their leggings (they sell other things too):

I don't need too --- I think they're hideous. Also, leggings don't look good on my pear-shaped body.

There was nothing quite like walking around the mall and realizing that half the women in there were smuggling cauliflower in their tights.
 
Very few women look good in leggings.

Yoga paints are only slightly better.

Leggings were the greatest thing ever when I was in college. Well... Those and short shorts. :lol:

Yes my sister in law sells it. She just gave me a couple pairs for my birthday and really they are cute and super comfortable. The ones she gave me are solid colors though, which I like. Plus, the outfits she puts together are nothing like those pictures, it's cute and matching. She's doing really good at it so it must be catching on.

I am all for the "yoga pants as pants" trend and I will fight anyone who tries to end it.

They are awful and the styling is terrible. None of those t shirts and leggings go together.

The only time I'll ever wear leggings out of the house is if I'm at the gym or out in the bush camping. The leggings I do wear look nothing like that, mine are all pretty plain, dark blue or black with no patterns apart from a couple I wear to the gym that are 3/4 length and have a Millennium Falcon on the RHS on the top of my thigh.
 
In the ads they look... decent, considering that they're ugly as eff but the models can pull it off to some degree. The problem is when real people in the real world who have no business wearing stuff like that wear them.
