McMansion Hell

I recently started reading this blog, it is both hilarious and educational. The blog is about poking fun at the horrible pre-2008 phenomenon of McMansions. Showing all of their flaws and proves that at least something good came out of housing crash. The author takes a very fun approach at teaching the difference between a real mansion and a McMansion, the and the architectural monstrosity they are. He has articles on architectural elements windows, roofs, etc. and how they are used properly but also has even more fun posts that just make fun of horrible houses. He also posts twice a week as a bonus.

To no one's surprise Texas and Washington D.C. (and surrounds) seem to be the capitals of McMansions.

This looks like a kitchen out of a porn flick. Cue the plumber or the pizza delivery boy.

I remember reading in an interview with the guy who runs the blog, he said that in California that is what quite a few of these McMansions are used for now, porn shoots. Since no one wants to live in them anymore.
