19 mins ago at 2:47am an unknown man scaled the side wall+window of the Ecuadorian embassy in London; fled after being caught by security.​

Wow. They observed the person and they were able to get away.
Though I have yet to see any information to suggest why the intruder was there, even though it is a possibility, I presently do not want to assume it was for Assange.

I doubt it was related to Assange. When I worked in embassies this happened to us a couple times a year. We always caught our intruders, though. :)

Fair point. They surely don't attract as many wackos as the American embassies do.

Hell, everyone knows that someone looking for crown jewels will go after the British stuff and leave the Ecuadoran stuff alone...except for THIS cat-burglar.

Hum. Considering the location, and the sensitive nature of embassy's, I am surprised they do not have a purveyance camera photo of all this. I wonder why?
