As I get older, I get more and more nihilistic in my view of things. I am going to end my 12 year abstention from voting this time and vote for Jill Stein. I know she will not win, and the money I gave to her campaign would have bought me a nice bottle of tequila that I could have used to numb the pain of my pointless existence. But anyway, anyone else having a similar progression in their life?

Your existence is not pointless to the point of oblivion, I know because I've been down there. If you drink a bottle of Tequila, have a shot of Patron on me and we'll find the bottom together. The point is you won't know how good life was, till you've found it's ending and we're not in a hurry to find it.


 
I'm not suicidal or even depressed for that matter. I'm quite happy and content most of the time. I just find myself giving less and less of a damn about stuff because of the seemingly pointless nature of things. I'm new here so my very sarcastic nature might not be conveyed as well as it should be.

Oh yea! I'm the same way for some reason I give less a **** about what people think, especially of me. It's a symptom of today's salad days of the world.
