As Expected, Amazon Prime Day sucks

Some things have an extra charge, but there's a lot of good "free" content on there.

Although, to be fair, nothing like Netflix.

They do however make it really easy to subscribe to Showtime and Starz via their add-on subscriptions.

The problem is that every year they do this, people complain. It's not just this event, their Cyber Monday is the same thing. Every year, they say they fixed the problems, it's going to be the most amazing thing ever and it's always the most disappointing thing ever. Nothing against Amazon the rest of the year, but the way they push these mega events, only to have them fall completely flat, is a bit absurd.

Oh, Amazon has problems alright. I tried to pre-order the PS4 VR bundle from them when it came out, and that was nothing but a huge cluster-fudge. They do have problems with high traffic times. This is their second Primeday, and I guess I just didn't expect too much. And I ended up finding some things I needed/wanted that were on sale, so I'll take it at that.
