Irish or Celtic violin music

So I have been trying to find a specific song from the Brave disney movie film score. The title is Noble Maiden Fair, it has another, less easy to pronounce title, but all I can find is the vocal version, and in the movie, there is an entirely string version. I WANT that string version, but can find it. (SHAKES FIST AT SKY)

There is also a short little piece that repeats on a loop on the title screen for the DVD (my daughter loves the movie, and I don't think it's half bad either), which I also can't find. I'm so sick of seeing movie SOUNDTRACKS for sale, but so SELDOM can you ever find the actual SCORE.

Anyway, are any of the rest of you fans of that sort of irish style of violin, and if so, can you point me to any other good examples? Thanks!

That was nice, and what I am looking for, but...I am looking for a version performed by pros, in a good studio, for purchase. The only thing I can find has the vocals, while the movie itself features one with just strings.

The player in that vid is good, but she has two major issues. One, she is recording two different parts, and then laying them on top, which works in theory, but not in practice, as a major part of music is playing off the other player. In short, she is off on many of her notes, and she can't tell that till after the fact, because those notes are fine on their own, but don't quite sync up with her other recording, and she can't tell that because it's being done at a later time.

Second, she is not in a recording studio, so the sound isn't as clean as it could be. Thanks for finding this, I guess it'll have to do. I just don't understand why they wouldn't just sell the score for the movie, featuring the full versions of every song played. Maybe it's a licensing thing?

Mairead Nesbitt is one of the best known Celtic violinists. You can find some of her performances on YouTube. Don't know if she has recorded the piece you are looking for but it would be worth searching her name.
This was recorded in Hyde Park, London. Nesbitt is the one in the jumpersuit and Smith is in the dress.

Noble Maiden Fair (A Mhaighdean Bhan Uasal) The second part is Scots rather than Irish gaelic. (Gah-lick not Gay-lick)

Patrick Doyle is a Scots composer, it might help in your searching.

I never knew that Emma Thompson had the Gaelic, or such a good singing voice!
