They don't seem to be. Per capita of the beneficiaries the US spent more public funds on health care than the average social democracy. It was not at all the problem that we spent too little. You seem to have missed the fundamentals.

I have no problem with people having healthcare. Everyone should have it.

However, some of us are royally pissed at our premiums going up every year despite the claim that it was going to be "Affordable".

I seriously doubt that it is all about rich executives when a freaking aspirin cost 25 dollars in a hospital.

Only for the poor bastards who have no insurance coverage for it. Insurers negotiate a much lower price so the company profits can be maintained. Besides, why are you against higher profits for hospitals and higher compensation of their executives?

The fact that there are astroturf idiots disrupting our political process is not partisan. It is the view both sides should take to ensure integrity in the dialogue.
