Trump-backing congressman says GOP will use budget 'reconciliation' to repeal Obamaca

Re: Trump-backing congressman says GOP will use budget 'reconciliation' to repeal Oba

I just wish the obedient Obamacare haters would start all their posts with "sure, 20 million more Americans have health care coverage, it lowers the deficit and increases the quality of care but its broken because......." It just seems to be another narrative conservatives cling to that requires them to ignore the facts.

Haven't seen much of you since the election and wanted to congratulate you on your victory in the Presidential race. Wondered when we will see a new thread from you thanking President Elect Donald Trump for the 19,000 stock market? I really hated seeing Conservatism defeated so badly this past election at the national, state, and local levels. Sure happy we have those sanctuary cities to give "us" the victory we so sorely needed and desired.

I love your post talking about how great Obamacare is and how there are 20 million more Americans covered. Keep doing that great job diverting from the fact that over 30 million are still uninsured and premiums are going up. I love the way you market liberalism and would love to be more like you. I truly enjoy seeing yours, Carleen's, and Absentglare's posts and hope to see more of you all touting the incredible successes from your election victories on November 8. This country showed its overwhelming support for Obamanomics as well as Hillary and her accomplishments in all those public offices she has held. Can I hear you, "Four more years!" "Four More Years!!" "Four More years!!"

Cruel but fair.

the fact that over 30 million are still uninsured and premiums are going up.

Oh Con, you only prove your dishonesty when you feign concern about people being uninsured and costs going up. Until you compare the numbers you feign concern about to the republican alternative to Obamacare (status quo) then you have nothing honest or intelligent to add to the conversation.

Vern, I was congratulating you and this is your response. You do an incredible job for the leftwing and hope you are being paid well. Your victory on Election Day was stunning and just between the two of us I totally understand why it is important to divert from reality. You and I both know that Obamacare is a failure but we must keep selling it to the minions who bought the rhetoric and ignore the results.

So I rounded up, 29 million but your numbers sound a lot better. It also ignores the reality that most of those who signed up for Obamacare are being covered under Medicaid which has burst state budgets but that is ok since 20 million more are reported to be covered and we can take credit for that

It will be taken apart and fixed. Had to happen no matter who got in. It's a mess.

Agreed, let us just hope the "fix" is actually better than the original version.

I'd ask you to explain what needs to be fixed but I find you only want to flail at Obamacare. And being non specific about your complaints helps you avoid explaining why it needs to be taken apart. Should we take it apart because "nancy was snooty?"

Vern, you are totally incorrect and ignore how much I support Obamacare. I love it when personal responsibility is delegated to the federal taxpayers and love how the program was sold by you and others. You have me convinced, we have insured all Americans and have done so at a much lower cost. Absolutely stunning how accurate you and the left have been now all we have to do is continue to convince people that ACA was such a success and Medicaid had nothing to do with it. Also all those millions and millions of uninsured will come to grips with our reality soon that there is such a thing as a free lunch and personal responsibility issues no longer exist

I am truly as intellectually honest as you are and now see you have been right all along, the elections on November 8 prove that. Congratulations on getting your ideology confirmed by the electorate. I am now looking at you in a different light

Then you are going to love when Medicare is turned into Obamacare! It's finally Paul Ryan's time to shine.

Oh, absolutely, I love how I was forced to contribute to SS and Medicare and when I turned 65 lost my doctor who didn't accept Medicare. I only had him for over 20 years so obviously my new doctors know my history and will do a better job. Just love govt. sponsored programs as they always mean so well and are always so efficient which is why the current 20 trillion debt is much better than it would be without ACA

Only in America the land of opportunity can Americans get someone else to pay for their own personal responsibility issues, THANK YOU SO MUCH VERN and THE LEFT

Vern, I am totally shocked, shocked I tell you that you aren't all over the forum gloating over the election results. I know that Obama's economic results got a ringing endorsement and was sure you would be taking victory laps. I look forward to the next four years where I will support you in your gloating and like you touting all the successes that Hillary will generate in the country starting with the 19,000 stock market. Do you want to start the thread or do you want me to start it? Here is the OP topic.

]Thank you Madam President Hillary for the 19000 stock market

whew, I made it. If you had mentioned discouraged workers or shovel ready jobs I would have had to take a shot. I try to stay off the hard liquor until after 12 on weekends. And no need to start a thread about the continuation of the greatest bull market in history. Just comment in one my existing threads.

You are so right, I am so happy that Hillary was elected and has taken the stock market over 19000. Absolutely stunning her victory and the reaction in the country. Since you started the thread regarding thanking Obama for the 17000 stock market thought you would like to extend those thanks to President Hillary for the 19000. I understand if you don't want to take credit being the humble person you are.

The continuation of the greatest bull market in history was confirmed on election day as the Obama record was recognized. I know that President Hillary Clinton will continue the incredible economic results of Obama's which were truly recognized on November 8. You can be so proud of your contribution to those successful election results including all the state and local elections including the Democrat retaking control of Congress. All these years of negative posting between you and me are over as I recognize the errors of my ways and how smart and in tune with reality you are. I bow to your brilliance

Oh Con, that's why I pretty much ignore you. There is no string of words you can desperately post that in any way disputes the Great Obama Bull Market. But yet you do. hey remember this winner?

You claim the economy was destroyed when Bush left office

please don't ever stop flailing at reality

You definitely have a problem accepting compliments and the fact that I agree with you as does the country. It was an overwhelming win for Obama through Hillary on election night as his agenda was accepted fully by the election results. No question about it he should be added to Mt. Rushmore for his incredible contribution to things like the debt, healthcare for all, stock market successes, and leadership on the world stage for national security. I look forward to Hillary continuing Obama's agenda and his counsel in assuring continuation of his agenda. That shouldn't be a problem now that the Democrats gained back control of the Congress and have tremendous support from the state and local elected officials.

You knew all along with the rest of the country recognized on November 8, the Obama agenda and results were rewarded. thank you so much for offering your brilliance to this forum and I am only sorry that I didn't recognize it sooner.
