Top Official Says Health Law's Insurance Markets are Viable

It's not me making predictions, rather people who are more knowledgeable and those predictions have come true.

1. Our deficit didn't reduce because of Obamacare. It reduced because Republicans in Congress put the brakes on government spending...a little bit................................

I haven't seen you make much of an attempt to defend Obamacare lately. Why is that?

Mycroft, how is it possible that you posted that? Once again a conservative responds to something nobody posted. I didn’t give credit to Obamacare for President Obama’s almost trillion dollar reduction of the Bush Deficits. I simply pointed out one of the many lies you obediently believed was “Obamacare only reduces the deficit because its 10 years of revenue and 6 years of benefits. Since you are unable to respond to the facts I’ve posted, you have to respond to an imaginary post. But don’t worry Mycroft, instead of owning up to it you can cowardly cut and run like you did from your “50-100 million people will lose insurance” claims. And if someone reminds you of your dishonest delusion, a conservative moderator will happily close the thread to protect you.

And Mycroft, what does it say about you that you want me to defend 20 million more people have health insurance with improved quality of care and a lower deficit.

pssst...

You might want to ix-nay the moderator stuff. Just saying...

Obamacare is one big wealth transfer from earners to eaters.

Without young healthy people being forced to pay outrageous premiums at the point of a bayonet, it cannot succeed.

It's not all peaches and cream for the poor or aspirational young. Penalties and significantly increased premiums for these folks puts them in a bind. Nevertheless, Medicaid expansion and inclusion of non-discriminatory policies and mental health services has done a world of good.

Mc, your concern for me is admirable but I can help but believe its just an excuse for you to dodge my posts. I responded to your posts. You deflected (and dishonestly so) from mine. You've believed a steady stream of lies about Obamacare. So again, it just seems to me that conservatives generally and you specifically really should stop making predictions concerning Obamacare. Oh and don't forget, you and yours thought 10s if not 100s of thousand of doctors would retire if Obamacare started. This is a debate so you should attempt an honest conversation of the facts.

This thread started with honest facts...that you insist on ignoring. I don't see any point in talking to you about them further.

er uh MC, the thread was started with fenton flailing at the Burwell saying the insurance markets are viable. You chimed in telling democrats what they believed and your "predictions". I simply pointed out that terrible track record conservatives generally and you specifically have with your Obamacare predictions. And speaking of you specifically, you flailed and flailed and flailed at people explaining the actual facts to you concerning the lying conservative narrative that "50-100 million people will lose insurance before the 2014 elections". Serious question, did you ever figure out you were wrong? I assume you did because you've been cowardly dodging the facts in my posts. MC, this is a debate forum. If you are incapable of addressing the actual facts in an honest and intelligent manner, maybe you'd be more comfortable in a chat room.

Yeah, forcing everyone to pay for other peoples healthcare is completely civilized. lol.
"Mandates" was a GOP idea to prevent Freeloaders because, ie, everyone who shows up at the ER get treated and paid for by others anyway. Unless you want to stop that practice too...
and others like 'no pre-existing' where some people, thru no fault of their own, would be homeless were they not subsidized by a larger healthier pool.

Trump opposition to O'care and these ideas faded after their first meeting.
There is no GOP alternative to throwing 20 mil people off healthcare.. unless you'd like to elaborate it.
Hint: "Making insurers compete" is not the answer.
A fair/average monthly healthcare premium Will be/remain above what at least 10% of the population can afford so...
