Dirty MAGAts Leave Trash Behind @ Wildwood NJ Trump Rally

I don't buy your premise. But regardless, these are not Conservatives - they are Trump supporters.

Correct. trump supporters don’t practice conservatism.

Are you saying Trump supporters can't be conservatives?
No, though he has a lot of non-conservative principles. But Trump supporters cannot all be characterized as being Conservative. I see him (and often them) as populous & authoritarian, not Conservative in any traditional sense - especially fiscal. Though he has adopted some Conservative bones into his policies - judges for example.

No. Interesting that suddenly Snopes if credible when it's convenient.

I don't have a problem with Snopes or Factcheck.org as a source.
I know some do but that's neither here nor there.

Good, me neither, but several on the far right do have a problem with it unless it agrees with Trump.

White trash

The website was snopes.com. I'm glad you went for quality instead of a WRNJ site.

It's the least I could do. Arguing about garbage brings out the best in users that tend to post garbage.

Concerns are rising that Trump won't pay for his rally in NJ. The majority of the crowd seems to have been bused in from other areas as well.

Beach chairs, blankets and trash. Massive mess left after Trump's Wildwood rally.

Democrats call on Trump, Van Drew to reimburse Wildwood for rally

That is sad. It looks like the aftermath of a BLM march or a live anti-fa riot. Or even the aftermath of big football game in the 'burbs.' What is this country coming to when the aftermath of a Trump rally looks like an inner city homeless neighborhood?

It was reported in Jan 2009 that DC sanitation had to clean up 100 tons of garbage after the Obama inauguration.

At least they are not ****t**g on sidewalks like Pelosis "great" city of San Francisco

Look at that mess! Why it will take two people about an hour or two to clean that up.Could cost over a hundred dollars.

Racists have been telling me for years that whites don’t litter or destroy their own neighborhoods.

This isn't a neighborhood; it's a contained area where people were waiting, some for 48 hours. I see only one trash can in the picture, maybe a second one in the far background. The mess is just a shame, but it was cleaned up by the next morning. Maybe something can be learned before the next rally?

It’s a litter issue and I’ve been told that white people don’t litter. I’ve been told that white people and their neighborhoods are cleaner than minority neighborhoods. I also think people say that kind of stuff are racist

Whether Trump pays or not one thing the city admits is that the rally was a welcomed event for the businesses in the area. Don’t know if the taxes collected from that will offset the cost of cleanup but I bet those businesses aren’t complaining.

This time of the year, very often we do nothing,” DiDomenico said. “So it’s fantastic. It was good for the area. Everybody got a little shot in the arm, and now it’s back to quiet.

To be fair, this rally was held in New Jersey.

I don't think I've ever heard anybody make a comment such as this. It's such a stupid, ignorant thing to say, and at least in my community, most of the people in every neighborhood keep a tidy yard. It's true that in wealthier neighborhoods, you're not going to see, oh, an old Plymouth up on blocks. There is a connection between money and landscaping efforts, of course, but the suggestion that those who are less fortunate financially care less than others is just stereotyping.

I think, though, that if you're always looking for evidence of "racism" while ignoring the reality of poverty, you're going to find what you seek.

And I really don't see any connection between ordinary life and folks gathering in a designated area in advance of attending a political rally anyway.

A large congregation of people with stuff is always going to leave a mess behind. We've been told many, many times that Conservatives always pick up after themselves.

Littering tends to be the propensity of the young. Political persuasion isn't much of a factor.

Speaking of ignoring reality, you do realize that many non white people are not living in poverty? You’re making this about classism, but the comments I am talking about are clearly racist
