Crime-prevention group Guardian Angels said it will start patrolling neighborhoods with large Jewish populations in Brooklyn following recent attacks that have taken place in the region since Hanukkah started.

According to NBC News, Curtis Sliwa, who founded the group in 1979, said they plan to begin patrols in areas like Crown Heights and Williamsburg starting on Sunday.

I hope that the community in question can also hire a private security firm to patrol the area, as many neighborhoods do in our large cities.

The police can then be immediately alerted if any suspicious characters are seen.

I don’t get the Jew thing. Aside from religious differences between zealots, I don’t get why people pick on them.

The only thing that I really care about is my personal security.

When I take a walk in a neighborhood that is predominantly Jewish, I am 99.99% sure that NO ONE is going to rob me, sucker punch me, or murder me.

I am outraged that bad individuals have the gall to enter their peaceful neighborhoods in order to harass or even murder them.

Personally, I hold New York's so-called "mayor" responsible for creating an anti-law enforcement atmosphere in the city. That's why a lot of individuals are out of control. (E.g., the horrible individuals who murdered that college student in cold blood.)
