Connecticut man ordered to remove Confederate flag due to 'campaign of racially based animus' | TheHill

A Connecticut man was ordered to take down his Confederate flag after allegedly harassing his African American neighbors through a “campaign of racially based animus.”

Anthony Esposito, 49, allegedly draped himself in a Confederate flag and ran up and down his driveway as his neighbors’ 12-year-old daughter was outside waiting for the school bus, prosecutors say, according to the Hartford Courant.

Forgive my not having time to follow the link, but from your quote, it appears this crosses from 1a to harassment, which is a whole different beast; you lose protections when you infringe too much on others

You just don't harass someone's children.

He's honestly lucky it went to court - a guy came too close to my house and children the other day trying to argue with me and ended up running away to avoid bodily harm(period) Come to me, fine, come near my kids and you better look out

They should burn a watermelon on his lawn some night.

Its the north, so they regularly burn fried chicken anyway

They'd just eat the fried chicken. The burning watermelon is a symbol of reversed racism. Stick a flaming cross torch in top of the melon.
