A Pennsylvania state senator has been charged with possession of child pornography, attorney general says - CNN

(CNN) Pennsylvania State Sen. Michael Folmer is facing charges of possession of child pornography, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said Tuesday in a news release.

Authorities found images of child pornography on the Republican senator's phone after executing a search warrant Tuesday inside his Lebanon, Pennsylvania, home, the release said.

You gotta be careful with stuff found on phones or computers. Sometimes hackers inject porn through E-mails. Happy though I am to win a gotcha against the right wing, I think we should wait and see on this one. I know personally of one career that was wrongly derailed by something like this.
 
What is really disgusting is that he and his wife have 7 grandchildren.

At this stage of his life he should be that grandfather at the grandchildren's sporting events and school events. Not sitting in your office watching child porn.

Obviously he is a Democrat and Bill Clinton follower in Republican clothing. I wish Democrat politicians would admit they are Democrats, rather than pretending to be Republican.

Prosecute, and if found guilty then lock him up for as long as the law allows. His political party of choice should have no bearing on any of this.

I think that politics should be left out of these kind of charges. What they have done has nothing to do with their political persuasion. Just my opinion.
 
I wonder at the mental acuity of those who think that this is just a Republican thing, as if child predators aren't able to be found across all demographics. Also, by pushing that Republicans, specifically, are hypocritical when they do this, are you implying that pedophilia is more accepted among Democrats?
