PITTSBURGH (AP) — Shots were fired overnight through the office window of the attorney for a white police officer acquitted in the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager, and several hundred people gathered in protest Saturday over the verdict that left Pittsburgh a city on edge.

Police put officers on 12-hour shifts until further notice.

Pittsburgh is a tough town, whether you're shooting up a Synagogue or a lawyer's office. On the bright side, bullet holes in your office's windows is a lot easier to take than having your house burned down. That's where the term 'getting fired' comes from.
 
The jurors in that case are to be commended for refusing to be intimidated.

They listened to the testimony, considered the law, and made their decision.
