NYPD arrest man who graffitied #LoveTrump in subway station | TheHill

New York City police have arrested a man who repeatedly graffitied #LoveTrump in a Brooklyn subway station.

Transit Chief Edward Delatorre said during a council meeting Tuesday that police had a wall built inside the station, according to the New York Daily News. The police hid behind the wall and caught the man as he returned to again spray graffiti inside the station.

This guy, a repeat graffiti artist, is obviously infected with the Trumpitis virus. They caught him in the act of repeating the same political Twitter hashtag.

His punishment should be to clean up that station, full time, for a month.

I will say, though...in some areas, well done graffiti is an improvement. But I'm talking, stuff that involves artistic skill.

I lived & worked in Manhattan in the mid-60s & can report that I saw the first graffiti in a subway station, West 86th St (American Museum of Natural History): 'The purple unicorn eats paisley peaches.' At least the artist had artistic sense.

The cops must have gotten a chuckle out of this simpleton.

Sounds like entrapment... building a wall specifically to set a person up to break the law and they lay in wait?

Got to love "Mustache Man" In NYC.

Having a wall in the subway really can't be felt to encourage or induce normal people to quickly vandalize it. That is almost bad as saying you waxed your car to encourage someone to steal it.

It's why we shouldn't build a border wall on the border with Mexico. It just invites people to find a way over or around it.

According to what I have read, there is graffiti in the New York City subway stations and even on subway coaches (cars).

It would nice if the NYPD were equally zealous in capturing those "artists."

I think that I know why the cops turn a blind eye.

Why ?

No. It is almost as bad as taking my new car to the ghetto and parking it in front of a known car-jacker and waiting for him to steal it.

That is why there is barbed wire and moats...

Thank you for saying that, it is very true. My son is a graffiti artist who has had his art displayed in Philadelphia and NYC gallerias.

m I reading this right. NYPD built a wall to catch a graffiti artist?

That is freakin insane.

If I read this right, this kid is not a graffiti artist but rather just a vandal who supports TRump.

Lesson 1: Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

No, but birds pooping on it?

Inevitable. As certain as death and taxes.

He should be locked up for impersonating a graffiti artist.

It is entrapment but it only works on idiotic Trump supporters.
