Way to push the obvious as if some startling revelation of the American political scene. :roll:

The title of this thread "counter protesters expected to dwarf white supremacists in DC" simply demonstrates how minimal the issue of "White Supremacy" is in our culture.

I have searched and searched, and maybe someone else can help with it, but I have been unable to find an estimate of the total number of actual "White Supremacists" active in the USA.

We keep hearing how there are over 700 such groups (not counting nearly 200 Black nationalist groups) yet they could only muster at most 600 people to march in Charlottesville who were themselves faced with over 2000 counter-protesters.

Even if that figure were to only represent 1% of the total number of active White Supremacists in the USA, that makes at best 60,000 - 100,000 active White Supremacists thoughout the USA. IMO a generously overly-inflated figure.

Yet the Left counters each protest with numbers several times over the paltry representatives of such White Supremacists whenever they try to "march." It was that way back when the KKK and Nazis marched in Skokie, and it has little changed in the intervening years.

Still people on the Left like to drag this lifeless straw man out over and over trying to show how America is still a majorly racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., society despite all evidence to the contrary.

If anyone is empowering them it is the anti-White rhetoric of the Left, yet their numbers don't seem to be swelling.

What is growing, not only among White Americans, but also among Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, etc., is a backlash against the radical ideas of the Left designed to push globalist, socialist, anti-American SJW policies via tactics of identity politics and moral panic.

No, it is not White Supremacists that the Left needs to fear, it is Average Joe Citizen who is getting tired of being denigrated by the endless propaganda that they are "evil" unless they wholeheartedly agree with the Progressive-Left's political agenda.
