Funny and an actual thing:
If you do erase the line, be sure to wear gloves.
Awesome indeed. Does it work on all chickens, or is that one special?
What the hell?
I'm speechless!
I'd like to find-out if this is applicable to all chickens, or just this particular one?Yesterday, I was too.
No, it's a thing. I have been forced for love of my daughter to actually touch chickens only a couple of times (to remove bands). They live on my property, but I've never been back there since they moved in several months ago. I haven't met Otis, the rooster, only heard him, but he's a mean one, and my daughter is going to try this technique in the next days or so to establish dominance.

:lamoMy paternal grandmother raised chickens in her backyard, both for eggs and dinner. She'd hold a chicken over a line drawn in sand, chop off its head with a quick stroke of an ax. When I asked why she drew the line, she said "to stop it from running around after I chop off its head." I was maybe 3 or 4 years old, and those chickens scared the crap out of me. I had nightmares about headless chickens running around for a long time. Now I have daymares about headless politicians running around.
BTW she made great chicken stews. I doubt politicians would make for good eating.
