Strangest storm ever. Hundreds of lightening bolts flashing. Clouds lit up. Can hear cars on highway 2k's away.

No thunder.

WTF?

Read up on it but I have never seen anything like it. Still going on.

Twenty minutes... no sound but waves lapping on shore. Like that Tom Cruise movie War of the Worlds. All lightening ing one spot... except they had thunder.
 
Heat lightning. Very rarely produces audible thunder. Happens all the time in the south.
