The bigger story is that in one trip one ship crew found $435 million in cocaine, and this was not special enough to be news.

I knew they could train dolphins to do all kinds of ****, but sea turtles? Wait. Sea turtles are really freaking slow. Why would you use sea turtles if you could train dolphins? Maybe they tried, but the dolphins had a moral objection to drug running.

But I don’t think they were using the sea turtle. I think the poor guy just got caught in the bales. Drug smugglers will anchor the bales out at sea somewhere and then pass on the gps coordinates to people who are supposed to pick them up.

If I was on that boat I would have freed the turtle and taken the drugs for selling. Why report it? :mrgreen:
