The chicken. The guy got off easy... just dead. The chicken has to go on living with this terrible memory.

Well, I'm finding it relatively impossible to find sympathy for the dead spectator.

I don't have a problem with eating meat, I don't particularly care about hunting (unless we're talking about people going on fancy safaris to kill the last few of a dying species), I don't object to boxing/MMA/etc. But this kind of thing? The bird had no choice.

I have no sympathy for any spectator or participant killed by the bird.

Agreed... it is pretty barbaric, not to mention stupid. Chariot racing is perhaps a more stupid sport though.

I have to wonder how he the sustained life ending injuries.
When the Police showed up, did he try and hide the fighting **** in his pants?
