Not sure if this is the correct place for this, so if it isn't, could a Mod please relocate it - thanks in advance.

Okay, so I watch this guys videos from time to time. He explores abandoned mines. The last one I watched before this one was in an old copper mine and there was still copper ore everywhere, and it was very interesting - well, to me is was.

Anyway, in the video below, he is reviewing a small but very powerful flashlight for his viewers while exploring an old abandoned mine from the 1800's. While exploring he hears, and records, some very strange sounds from behind him, deep in the mine from an area that he had just left.

Well, you guys listen to it, and see what you think it is. It doesn't sound like wind to me. I have no idea what it could be.

If you're interested in old mines, then watch the whole thing. If not, and you just want to hear the weird sounds, then go to the 12:00 minute mark so you can hear how quiet it is while he talks and the strange noises start about 10 or so seconds after that.

Some kind of animal(s), would be my guess.

Freaking demonic sounding. There was some sort of electrical storm nearby, and I wonder if it could be lightening dissipating through the rock?

If you have time, watch it again with headphones on, and turn it up as loud as you can stand. I did that and it brought goose bumps to my arms when I heard it again.

12:42 just after "it stopped"

It sounds like "the innocent the innocent the innocent"..

GF says she hears something about "out" like "clear it out" just before that..

The noises seem like a loop or repetitive..

One of his buddies got him good?
Someone doesn't want anyone in the mine and is scaring people like scooby doo?
Ghostses?

It sounded a lot like "Hey! Luther! Time to get the **** out of here right now!!!!!"

I'm not a believer in the supernatural but I also have no desire for a ghost to prove me wrong.

To me it sounds like an echo of the narrators voice.

The last time I ventured into an abandoned mine I was about 8 years old. A couple of friends and I decided to go into this old coal mine. We left in a hurry. It was full of methane. Truthfully, we barely made it out. Never again. I don't want to know what's in those places. I figure they were abandoned for a reason, and I'll take the word of the miners who abandoned them that there's nothing worth finding inside.

Really?

Encountering a real "ghost" would completely upend the current scientific picture of reality. I can think of few things that would be more interesting. The only trouble would be that unless it told you some of the underlying physics allowing for its existence, you'd probably spend quite a lot of time trying to decide whether or not you had a psychotic break with known reality....

And hey, you can always buy a new pair of pants later.....
