Top US General Slams Confederacy As ‘Treason’, Signals Support For Base Renaming

The guy's a loser for sure yet what's most revealing is the crowd who doesn't think he's a racist traitor for his support of secession while they cheer on in their common hate of Lincoln.

“Those generals fought for the institution of slavery. We have to take a hard look at the symbology,” Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley told the House Armed Services Committee. “The Confederacy, the American Civil War, was fought and it was an act of rebellion. It was an act of treason against the Union, against the Stars and Stripes, against the U.S. Constitution. Those officers turned their back on their oath.”

Army Gen. Mark Anthony Milley was sworn in as 19th chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff during joint service ceremony at Summerall Field, Ft. Myer Va, September 1, 2019. Attending were Pres. Trump, Vice President Pence, Secretary of Defense Mark Esper. Esper a USMA grad is formerly Secretary of the Army; Milley of Princeton Rotc was elevated to CJCS when his single 5 year term expired as Army chief of staff.


Pentagon has just recently prohibited Confederate junk on all facilities of the armed services in the USA and throughout the world. Veterans however remain unaffected by the order given they are no longer in the armed services.

Marine Corps was first to prohibit Confederate junk at MC facilities followed soon afterward by Navy and other services. Some certain veterans however remain unconstrained either legally or by a moral code each of 'em seems to lack.
