Drone In Iranian Airspace?

Norway is a Unitary Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy. Canada is a Federal Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy. Neither one of them is "Socialist".

Do you want to know what countries are Socialist?

China. A Unitary One-Party Socialist Republic.
Cuba. A Unitary Marxist–Leninist One-party Socialist Republic.
North Korea. A Unitary One-Party Socialist Republic.

And there are others, like Vietnam. None of which is high on the list of nations most people want to move to.

Do not confuse a nation having some Socialist ideas with being a Socialist country. That is infantile thinking.

Don't forget Berkeley.... ;)

Bet he hates America and all it stands for too.

It isn't anti-American to say Trump is just a big OLD turd. It is an American right. Constitution....

Believing we could do better, again not anti-American it is a persons right.

Thinking Iran spent $48,000 on a missile that shot down a $138,000,000 drone as an effective transaction, that again is an Americans right.

You thinking I am such an ASS, say it with me "Is your right as an American"

You not wanting me to be able to say, state or believe those things totally IS anti-American.

You claim to be from The State of Jefferson..

What is the The State of Jefferson?

This was a proposed formation of a state by a separatist’s movement where armed individuals in 1941 decided to annex land from multiple states. The attack of Pearl Harbor and rise in American patriotism caused the movement to decidedly lose momentum.

The State of Jefferson now is claimed to be named after Thomas Jefferson but originally the original separatists claimed it was named for Jefferson Davis the commander for the confederate forces. Highway 99 was named by the separatists the Jefferson Davis Highway and plaques dedicated to Jefferson Davis's influence are still displayed today.

The armed partisan’s setup check points on the self named Jefferson Davis Highway (Highway 99) at the proposed boundaries and stopped vehicles entering their territory and informed the occupants of the Proclamation of Independence, stating that the State of Jefferson was in rebellion and would continue to secede until further notice. Sounds familiar?

It became clear at the start of WW II that many Americans would find it to odd to name a state after an individual who swore allegiance to a separatist government, dedicated himself to the overthrow of America, resulted in the deaths of so many Americans and was unrepentant when conceding defeat so, Thomas Jefferson was later inserted as the influence.

The area proposed is an area of the United States with one of the heaviest concentrations of United Daughters of the Confederacy outside the Southern portion of America and East of the Mississippi. This concentration is directly linked to the large number of Confederate soldiers and their families who migrated to the area after the Civil War ended in 1865.

Bakersfield is named after the confederate Col. Baker. Many of the confederate soldiers not content with any further federal government intervention came to the remote area to avoid exposure. When America came to encompass the enclave, the lingering separatist movement once again resurfaced.

Some Americans aware of the history behind the settling of the area, the strong separatist background and the controversial possible past figure associated with its name, would find The State of Jefferson an affront to them. It is to them like being Jewish and being told they now live in The State of Himmler, Goring or Hitler for that matter.

An echo in history when focused on can often be heard as a harsh, shrill scream that was thought to have perished in the past.

I'm just calling a spade a spade. Say whatever tickles your fancy.

Something to ponder: what if Trump asks Putin if the drone was in Iranian airspace, and Putin says "yes". Will Trump believe Putin as he did when he denied Russia trying to interfere in the 2016 elections?

Then you should be able to show us many verifiable and vetted sources for this nonsense you just posted.

For example the pure coprolite that Bakersfield was named after a Confederate Colonel.

Wrong, it was named after Colonel Thomas Baker, who was from Ohio. Got that, Ohio. A Union state.

And he never participated in the Civil War. He moved to California as part of the Gold Rush in 1850, and was a member of the State Assembly in 1861 when the war started. He spent the entire war right in California.

I am not sure where you cot that giant mound of coprolite that you just posted, but it is all one giant stinking lie. Like that crap about Colonel Baker.

But come now, it should not be hard to prove you are correct.

I got my information from a Bakersfield native.

An individual whos father was part of the 1941 separatist movement.

He still has some of the printed leaflets that his father handed out at the roadblocks when they forced vehicles to stop at their self proclaimed border.

He proudly celebrates his parenting background which is of confederate origins.

We do not agree on most political views and on occasion we will block each others Facebook feeds.

Even with that we are able to be friends and if I am in California we make sure to visit and the same when he comes here.

We met here in Arizona when he came in town to certify an MRI I was working on.

I can personally say that I once was staying at his house when the town held a yearly celebration where the Daughters of The Confederacy placed a confederate flag on 100's of graves, of which one was Bakers grave.

A grave I will state is in a cemetery named Union Cemetery but the name has nothing to do with the civil war. (Originally Bakersfield Memorial Cemetery until 1887)

I have also seen one of the plaques which is on display to this day at the Bakersfield Historical Society that directly links The State of Jefferson with Jefferson Davis.

Bakersfield is named after Col. Baker who had a free grazing field for visitors to the area just for their horses. (A kindness he extended to all.) Hence the name Bakersfield

My friend has lots of photos of his smiling father and others enforcing their new borders and signs designating Highway 99 as The Jefferson Davis Highway in The State of Jefferson.

My friend still owns the rifle his father carried during his roadblock patrols, displays it and has pictures of his father coupled with it.

I was also told that they setup the roadblocks on Thursdays because they didn't want to interfere with their weekends.

My friend and I are political opposites but I do not have any reason not to trust him or my own eye for that matter.

In other words, you got fed a bunch of bilgewater without any validation or verification and you accept it without question.

And sorry, roadblocks in Bakersfield, proclaiming the State of Jefferson?

Jefferson was to have existed hundreds of miles to the North. The "roadblock" (where they issued a declaration of secession and that they would continue to "secede every Thursday until further notice) happened way up in Yreka, not Bakersfield. Yreka is just 26 miles south of the California-Oregon border. Bakersfield is another 525 miles to the South, in what is basically the foothills of the mountains north of Los Angeles.

Yea, your buddy fed you a load of crap, and apparently you still believe it. But I have no problem saying outright if that is what he told you, he was an outright liar.

I suggest you let yourself lean the truth, instead of believing that nonsense. I do not care what he told you, he is lying.

Until I met Mr. B, I had never heard of The State of Jefferson.

I never claimed that the roadblocks were in Bakersfield.

Bakersfield may be far from the Jefferson border line but that only means someone dedicated to a cause is referenced.

His family ties, strongly support his claims.

He has facts, historical and personal records to strengthen his claims.

His family (father) is accepted as a founding member of the State of Jefferson movement.

You mentioned that on Thursdays the original separatists would setup their roadblocks as I was told. Is that a confirmed fact or just part of a quote?

I will be sure to present your rebuttal to him and I have already let him know I personally feel The State of Jefferson is a poor idea.

Separation for reasons of political advancement is like gerrymandering to exclude voters by dividing concentrations up to negate their power.

Both the Democrats and Republicans are guilty of doing it, but that doesn't make it at all right.

Highway 99 was PROPOSED as a Jeff Davis highway in the 1930s in the east. The southern states jumped the gun on this and raised signs as far was as Louisiana.

Which is NOT in California.

His claims are all bogus, and he can not provide a shred of proof to anything he says.

Pure conspiracy theory nonsense, that does not belong here.
