If someone can force you to give up God, then your faith and your God isn't very strong, is it? Under God's law you should be free to kill homosexuals and own slaves. Maybe the US isn't the right country for you.

Explain "god's law" when it comes to war.


Also please explain how christians are being "forced to give up god".

There is no right to lie. There is no right to deceive. There is no right to murder unborn babies. There is no right to teach perverted graphic sexual immorality to grammar school kids, or even to high school kids. There is no right to produce pornography. There is no right to commit adultery. And so forth. The problem with leftist progressives is that they think all these things are protected in some American moral code while militant Christianity is forbidden by the same code.

Isn't that sweet. I was in the Army 45 years ago and Christians were hugely outnumbered then also. Atheists should not take too much comfort in being among the "many" Jesus said were on the broad road to destruction.

You don't interpret the Bible the same way as I and Christians I know do. Don't worry. I have already let it be known that anyone attempting to force me to bend to satanic laws will be told that will not be happening and they can go to hell if they think they can make me.

Nuns were told they would be forced to pay for contraceptives just like anyone else under the socialist democrat Obamacare tax hike plan. Maybe the nuns will have to give up their religious objections, but I will sure as Smith & Wesson shooting certainly not be giving up my religion and bowing before atheistic government laws enforced by jack-booted goons with the devil as their guide.

So are you killing homosexuals and stoning adulterers, or are you accepting that the laws preventing murder in the US overrule the Bible?

I don't think so. I quit wearing a Mjölnir necklace that I had bought during a trip to Denmark and Sweden a few years ago, when I read about the white supremacists use of the image. One can defend freedom of worship without approving of any faith's tenets and/or the behaviour of SOME followers.

Should we say that all Christians are hypocrites when we read of the preacher in Texas who used to rant and rave about the degenerate homosexuals, who just lost his pulpit because he was spending church funds on hookers and pot? What about the Christians who don't believe the LGBTQ community should be covered under the Anti-Lynching bill that has just been passed?

Perhaps I should have clarified my observations: Some progressives who saw the military Nordic worship article may have thought this was a victory for religious “diversity” and a blow to right-wing Christian theocrats. They are in for a rude surprise.

War? Take the 1967 6 day war, for example. God gave Judea to Jews 4,000 years ago by perpetual decree and modern Arabs lost their shirts trying to take it away from them.

Real life is influenced by real entities, not fake ones. There is a war waging in heaven and earth between God and the devil. Most men see the war as between good and evil, which is true. Those not supporting and promoting the good are helping the bad.

The Bible does not teach Americans or anyone else to murder. That is an ignorant assumption. The Bible does teach that anyone living a life of total rebellion against God will receive the death penalty at the white throne judgment of God.

If your supposed "god" truly exists, then your "god" is fully allowing, condoning, and enabling the "devil" to exist.

There's no "war".

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

Those rules were in force during the time of the Jews. We are not under Jewish law today but the unchanging God still sees homosexuality as being wrong

Progressives may be surprised to discover that diversity is not always a force for liberalism. For example, should liberals accept the diversity of other cultures that promote child marriages or female genital mutilation? True, "diversity is not always a force for liberalism", however, "liberalism" does not promote the belief that those with a particular skin colour are superior to those with other skin tones. "liberalism" does not promote the belief that one religion is superior to all others. "liberalism" does not support beliefs or actions which cause physical harm to minors or adults who fail to conform to specific religious or political beliefs.

True liberalism accepts all cultures and beliefs which do not cause harm to other humans. - Care to differ?
