Eric Prince has resurfaced with a plan to circumvent the DoD with a private army engaging our foes in Afghanistan. Significant taxpayer reduction must lead to a lucrative contract, (speculation on my part). Prince has stated that 6000 troops/contractors with air support will get the mission done. What do you think?

We should stop funding private armies.

It'll come back to bite us.

Sure, foreign mercenary armies operating under our flag.

What could possibly go wrong?

And whatever they call themselves nowadays this is Blackwater, and a brief search will show their sketchy history.

I guarantee the costs are understated, also, because anything else is just bad business.

I suppose I don't have a problem with them as transport and base security, but not offensive ops.

No thanks. Another disaster waiting to happen.

Absolutely not.

Erik Prince should already be buried beneath the prison for Blackwater’s crimes, and now this thug wants to send his gang of trigger-happy mercs over there? **** that.

In a just world, Erik Prince would be rotting in an Iraqi jail.
