you are wrong, USA was responsible for Georgian state protection in 20th

Every six months or so, Moscow steals another half-mile of Georgian territory. Russia's border creep is nothing new. Since the 2008 war, Russia has slowly been advancing further and further into Georgian territory by constructing fences and other barriers. In some cases villages are cut in half by fences. Locals have even gone to bed in Georgia, and after Russian soldiers installed a fence overnight, have woken up in Russia-occupied South Ossetia.

they tried to do the same in Estonia in 2014, and failed of coz, you know NATO . thats why Georgia/Ukraine must be in NATO
