Russian PMC facilities

Sources in Russia and Ukraine identify three large training bases for Wagner Group and other Russian private military contractors (PMCs) besides Molkino. First in importance is the Wolf International Center for Special Training in Moscow. Wolf training facilities are also located in Serbia, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, and Greece. The head of Wolf is Denis Ryauzov (also on sanctions). Another is the Kadyrov Center in Gudermes, Chechnya which trains Chechen and Russian mercenaries. Another significant facility is the Partisan Center in St. Petersburg, Russia headed by Denis Vasilyev. The Partisan Center has sent ~400 mercenaries (kontractniki) to eastern Ukraine. These are the largest but there are many more, smaller in scale located close to five Russian cities and in the Moscow oblast. Russian PMCs returning from Syria by plane are first debriefed at the Spetznaz military base at Stepnoi, Rostov Oblast, home of the 22nd Special Purpose Brigade.
