Arlington Cemetery, Nearly Full, May Become More Exclusive

I've read that recently many Viet Nam vets have had their ashes left at the Wall in DC. There is I believe some talk of creating a place for these ashes to be kept in a common place.

Maybe other posters know more about this. But it seems this might be a temporary solution, as Viet Nam vets age they are the generation that needs to be dealt with immediately.
Another space might take some of the pressure off Arlington.

It is a subject needing some kind of solution suggested by our leaders. Hope they get to it.

No, but reducing the role of the armed forces would reduce the amount of veterans.

We could just sit back from a distance, send drones, and exterminate anyone that threatens the US, and that would reduce the number of US veterans. That would probably look good on the financial ledger, and reduce the number of national cemetery graves we have to have here in the US, don't you think? ;)

That would be preferable, especially if "threaten the US" was taken specifically, not applied to militant groups allied to militant groups that were once associated with Al Qaeda.
