Trump did not declare Jerusalem Israel's capital, the Israeli's did. Trump announced the American Embassy would be moved to Jerusalem. And that shows you to be untrustworthy.

That's funny--some months back the TV showed Trump saying that Jerusalem is the capitol of Israel. Yes, I know there is all sorts of fake news on the TV. That must have been an example. :lol:
 
It's stunning how much influence Bibi has in America. I guess we will have to wait and see if he successfully drags the United States into war with Iran. I'm sure there are plenty in the Trump administration just itching at the chance to expand our forever war.

His stating that Jerusalem is Israel's capital is a statement of recognition of an existing reality, not a declaration creating a new reality. But go ahead, play word games all you want, won't change a thing.

I don't hate to clue you in, the US has been and remains in a state of war with Iran, since the invasion of the US Embassy in Tehran, no different than invading the continental USA. Perhaps you should read Jimmy Carter's recognition of that state of war from the next morning. Since the War of 1812, Congress recognized that a state of war existed when US territory is invaded. No need to vote on a formal declaration. It appears the Iranians are more tuned into our laws than you are. Reality can be a kick in the butt.

Ahhh no we still need a declaration as the REASON for the declaration was our ships being stopped on international waters. Congress did declare war. Carter can't declare war (how many politicians and world leaders call some incident 'an act of war'???) And here I thought you didn't believe politicians- did Carter send the bombers??? the army, did he send in the Marines???

I realize Congress has given away it's Constitutional duties but we are not at war with Iran. I realize some are going to stay butt hurt over the Embassy, some Iranians are going to remain butt hurt over us propping up a brutal unelected leader.

Israel wants us to back them no matter how they treat arabs, no matter how much more land they squat on. I'm kinda done with that, the time for a real meaningful solution to the Allies of WWII dropping the surviving Jews onto Arab land is at hand. Pretending it is a clash of religions needs to stop... :peace

You really ought to learn some history. The US has been and remains in a state of war for 93% of its years in existence. The Iranians did what they had to do to send the war criminal/terrorist USA packing, after the USA had illegally occupied Iran since its war criminal overthrow of the Iranian government in 1953.

That is terrorism as defined by the US, by the FBI by everyone in the world. What you really mean to say is that the US has been and remains in its Terrorist state ever since Iranian patriots took over the sanctuary of the US war criminals.

Carter was a weak kneed piece of crap, he betrayed his duty to this country, failing to decide and lead, therefore betraying this nation. Jefferson responded to the Barbary pirates by forming the Marines and sending them in to shut down the Barbary pirates, that was over a few ships of trade.

The constitutional duty of congress is to support the president during times of war. Nice of you to demonstrate having been suckered by propaganda. This country is at war, not only with Iran, but the muslim world, because the muslim world is at war with the rest of the world.
