Senior Pentagon soldier to ISIS: Surrender or get beaten with entrenchment tool | Fox News

The Pentagon's senior enlisted member has drawn the line against ISIS: "surrender or die!"

In a blunt warning to the remaining ISIS fighters, Army Command Sgt. Maj. John Wayne Troxell said the shrinking band of militants could either surrender to the U.S. military or face death.
“ISIS needs to understand that the Joint Force is on orders to annihilate them,” he wrote in a forceful message on Facebook. “So they have two options, should they decide to come up against the United States, our allies and partners: surrender or die!”
Looks like they've meant it so far.

Downright comical, but expected considering the source, since it was Russia that actually defeated ISUS, assuming they are actually defeated, and not just repositioned to another location by their paymasters in Tel Aviv and Washington.

The reporter cannot even get his own headline correct! Ask any soldier or Marine, active or vet, wtf is an “entrenchment” tool. The correct answer is in the SGM’s quote.

With a name like Army Command Sgt. Maj. John Wayne Troxell, you can take what he says to the bank.

It was a combination of efforts. From Iran, Iraq, Syria, the Kurdish, etc.

But RT told you otherwise... Right?

Russian never fought out side of Syria hence you are Wrong.:doh

The story and headline are by some zany outfit called Fox.

The entrenchment tool faux pas is what can happen when some English major kid at the copy desk where they write the headlines gets your copy and decides you need some grammar. A reporter worth his salt could respond by introducing the kid to an actual entrenching tool for real. If you know what I mean -- and you do. Then send him out for a foxhole plug.

I've put in bold the entrenching tool part of the brief statement by SGM Troxell to his Facebook page. The right half of the photo with the entrenching tool is from the FB page SGM Troxell wrote.

"If they surrender, we will safeguard them to their detainee facility cell, provide them chow, a cot and due process.

"HOWEVER, if they choose not to surrender, then we will kill them with extreme prejudice, whether that be through security force assistance, by dropping bombs on them, shooting them in the face, or beating them to death with our entrenching tools.

"Regardless, they cannot win, so they need to choose how it's going to be."

It works for me among many others here too.

We know also that Command SGM Troxell is the senior enlisted advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and to the Secretary of Defense, appointed by Chairman General Joe Dunford of USMC. Indeed while the Faux article said he is Army command sergeant major, SGM Troxell is in fact in the Army and the killer for real who has five combat tours is the Senior Enlisted Adviser to the Chairman (SEAC).

The technique of extreme prejudice btw might be to go at 'em with the entrenching tool flat to put the desert rat flat. Then put the entrenching tool at the 90-degree angle shown in the photo to start slicing and dic, er, beating. Beating the live and armed enemy with your tool isn't necessarily a war crime izzit. Waving your tool before you finish him off would be the way to go then. For sure.

We could also go to the box office or stay home to do Netflix.

Very seriously speaking however SGM Troxell does have quite the stellar record. Five combat tours and a bachelor degree in Strategic Leadership from UNC, and a MBA from a college in California.

He's a grad of SNCO Leadership programs at the National Defense University at Ft. McNair in the Military District of Washington DC and also the Army War College at Carlyle Barracks Pennsylvania.

The Senior Enlisted Adviser to the Chairman JCS, Command SGM Troxell gets around which is good for everyone....

SEAC Visits 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard)

SEAC Command SMG Troxell of the Army visits with 3rd Infantry Regiment Horse Troopers in their stables at Ft. Myer Arlington Virginia. Ft. Myer was a horse cavalry post from 1864 to 1914 and it is where the future General George S. Patton Jr. developed his skills on three separate assignments to include as post commander. The Old Guard Honors Funerals Caisson Platoon is the only active horse mounted unit in the Army.

Command Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell of the Army, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visits soldiers assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) at Joint Base Meyer - Henderson Hall, Jan. 30, 2017. During his visit, Troxell met with the Cassion Platoon (shown above), Tomb Sentinels of the 4th Battalion (shown below), and the 947th Military Police Detachment. SGM Troxell visits with Sentinels and their Relief Station at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery which is adjacent to the Pentagon and to Joint Base Meyer - Henderson Hall (Army&USMC). SGM Troxell was escorted by 3 IR Command SGM Scott Beeson and accompanied by the four battalion SGM.

I don't get it. The quote uses that term. We called them e-tools (army, '90-'95).

Yikes.

I enlisted just a couple years after you and e-tool was the only thing I ever called it as well.

But we knew the 'e' was for entrenchment. If anyone didn't, they sure did after we dug-in humvees.

Perhaps you can provide some information as to how you young’uns came up with “E” for entrenchment as opposed to entrenching.

They issuing Humvees to Abn Infantry in those days? Thought you ‘warriors’ jumped and marched....

Straight forward and unequivocal rules of engagement that Obama couldn't muster.
Best of all, it worked, and it worked quickly. Less than a year.

Do you think that any Muslim extremist radicals are likely to try their luck in the near future?

Sure they will, and get killed.

ISIS has been finding out that the honeymoon is over. All those people bitching about Trump's "****hole" comment, will got bonkers over the CSM's foxhole shovel comment.

Russia never fought outside of Syria? Your conclusion--that I am Wrong--is based on a poor knowledge of history.

When I was a kid, Russia under Kruschev invaded Hungary and several other countries. Obviously, at the end of WWII Russia made it all the way to Berlin.

Russia was invited into Syria, unlike the US which committed military aggression, again, to get there and so much more of the Mideast.

Is this topic hard for you to follow? The topic is the fight against ISIS, not every other place Russia has fought in. FYI, Russia was not invited to stay in the countries they overran in WWII, so much for your outrage over US actions.

Thanks for the wall of text reply. What do eye candy soldiers know about TA-50?

LOL...no kidding. His name alone would have me calling him "Sir"...haha

My tactic

1) Lots of sea launched Tomahawk missiles from US Navy Ships.

2) US Air Force Aircraft dropping more ordinance

3) Artillery. LOTS of Artillery launched and set for air burst .

4) Nuke Weapons dropped on Yemen and Iran.

5) A night strike and Military ordinance blitz on the Horn of Africa where Al-Qaeda, Al-Shaboob , Isis .....and other terror waste lives and trains. Well..... i guess we could nuke it also.
