Food for thought. Is the CinC a member of the Armed Forces? Commander would indicate “officer” status. Can the President be charged under the accompanying Article of the Universal Code for Military Justice? “Conduct Unbecoming.”

Conduct unbecoming an officer. UCMJ Art. 133

Fails the “gentleman” part without contest!

No, even though the president is CiC he is still a civilian

No, because CiC is a position not a rank.

First, Trump is president. You do not have to like it(I do not), but that is how it is. Barring something much more significant than we have seen so far, he will be president till 2021 at the least. Stupid ideas to try and get rid of him are kinda silly.

Second, the president is a civilian, which is a good thing. Civilian authority over the military is an important check and balance.

Is CinC a military rank?

Is CinC a military rank?

Article II Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, the Commander in Chief clause, states that "[t]he President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States."

Since it doesn’t seem to be an official rank, but simply a title and powers granted by The Constitution, I’d have to say I think he’s a civilian. But very creative approach, I’d say.

Agree he is a civilian...

Folks here are confusing rank with authority. The President of the United States has authority over the armed forces of the USA by the constitutional powers granted to the office but does not have rank within the armed forces. The UCMJ does not apply to him because the serving president is not an active member of the armed forces.

Cheers.

There have been quite a few pathetic ideas of how to remove the legitimate president of this country simply because you are unhappy with the results of our election but this has to be one of the saddest.
You may want to see about getting some help for your TDS.

As active duty you will want to keep toeing the company line, never who is watching.

Members of the military take an oath to defend The Constitution. The Constitution specifically states how a president can be removed from office.

Would the same apply to Bill Clinton? Adultery is agains the USMJ. Do you think that he should have been brought up for "Conduct unbecoming..." Somehow, I think you let that one go because he has a (D) after his name.

Food for thought? Thanks for your thoughts, how many Administrations since Clinton? Sixteen years, to the end, twenty to the start. Were you even alive then?

Yes. Yes, I was. I was an officer serving at that time. If I had got a blow job in my office, I’d have lost my commission.

This says it all.

Care to try again but this time go for a coherent post.

Very nice dodge of the question. But unfortunately you refusing to answer it tells everyone that southern dads thoughts were correct.
