The US Administration has threatened Syria claiming that it has information that Syria is preparing another chemical weapons attack like that at Sheikh Sheikhoun earlier this year. Is this an honest warning to prevent an atrocity by a brutal regime against its own people or a cynical pretext to expand the scale and scope of US military operations in Syria?

Considering the US lied about past chemical attacks by Syria I see no reason to consider this time any different. The whole attack on Assad by the US is just an attempt by the US government to remove him without looking like the bad guy.

Just USA Media preparations for a new false flag event. The USA prevented an investigation of the gas disaster in Idlib province and Trump sent 59 Tomahawks upon a Syrian airbase. The USA is one of the bad guys in Syria. OIL/Energy/pipelines and who'd have guessed it. If the US would get out of the way, Syria, Russia and Iran would wipe out ISIS. Of course, then you don't get the OIL or pipeline right of ways. Do you remember when 10,000 ISIS crossed the desert without being detected by US satellites and invaded Mosul. Must be we wanted Mosul invaded because we all know our satellites are better than that, meaning it was a choice to allow that invasion. The MSM promotes a lie and then it is Pete and re_Pete until the morons think it is the truth. Syria does not have chemical weapons. End of story.

They not only lied, but refused to allow an investigation to determine what gas caused the deaths. They promote the White Helmet media manipulators platform. By the way, the White Helmets are the ISIS MSM propaganda arm.

Yes, I care about Syrian civilians. Although reports are in disagreement there are about 80 fatalities associated with the Khan Sheikhoun attack. That is dwarfed by the number of Syrians who have died by US and Coalition air strikes and artillery strikes in Syria over the last year. These Coalition and US airstrike deaths are in turn dwarfed buy the killings attributable to the Assad regime. I care about all Syrian and non-Syrian deaths and Western hands are not bloodless in this respect. If you doubt this just visit the AirWars website to see the butcher's bill for the intervention into Syria.

Ah, external war to to distract from domestic troubles and rally the nation against a foreign threat. Tried and true methodology, but is it really what's behind this or are geopolitical forces at work more than domestic distraction? I am not sure myself.
