Video of Afghan MOAB blast

And? It still doesn't refute what I said. The decision to actually USE it was under Trump and the score card is a $314 million weapon was used to kill 36 people. That's a lousy return on investment no matter HOW much you try and spin.

What if one of those 36 dead assholes would have killed a American soldier in the future?

Would it be worthwhile to you then?

We've found 30 something bodies. We have no idea how many were just vapoized.

suppose those 36 people were able to kill hundreds/thousands of people.....would you still object?

Each year the United States gives approximately $8 billion in mandatory payments and voluntary contributions to the United Nations and its affiliated organizations. The biggest portion of this money – about $3 billion this year – goes to the U.N.'s regular and peacekeeping budgets.Jun 16, 2015

we give billions ayear on an organization which was created to solve world conflicts, yet it does little to nothing, now which is a waste?

Scary video!

It is good to quantify military costs vs lives, etc., even to apply a dollar figure to lives...if you are responsible for military matters, that's sadly, depressingly, your job. It's not critical for small scale stuff so much, but it's a critical skill/calculus to any serious military effort.

However as pointed out, there are a lot other reasons that have dollar values, other than just lives...sometimes just testing a weapon that hasn't seen much use has R&D value (sad to call it that, but again, that's the war business). Risk to our soliders is a big one as has been discussed. Especially if it's mountains and tunnels, who is going to want to go in there personally...much better to just collapse it all. We'd see a lot more of that I'd bet if they weren't so often embedded in populated/civilian areas.

ISIS and their kindred dark spirits don't dare to try open field maneuvers or movement in any numbers.

So you think it would have been better to send soldiers in to clear those tunnels out. Would you be the ones telling the loved ones of those killed that the only reason those soldiers were put in harms way was to save money. That we had a virtually risk free way to accomplish the mission but didn't want to spend the cash. Something tells me you wouldn't be interested in that.

In fact I highly suspect the only reason you care about the cost at all is because of who the president is. Had this occurred under obama I bet we wouldn't have heard a peep from you.

Disgusting

What's disgusting are Trump supporters so dumb they don't realize we shouldn't even be involved.

So when called out on your disgusting post you immediately attempt to change the topic. How very unsurprising. It does do a good job of illustrating the fact that deep down you realize just how disgusting your post was and the fact that it was little more then your hate for Trump shinning through.

Also interesting is that I didn't see to much from you about how we shouldn't be involved in Afghanistan while Obama was president. Wonder why you care now. Oh wait no I don't. It is blatantly obvious.

Finally it's rather ironic you calling Trump supporters out for being stupid when you struggle with putting a well constructed sentence together.

Yeah that $314 million was sure worth it to kill 36 people.

Did we win the war against ISIS in Afghanistan now? With that price tag we should have, but didn't. It amazes me how Trump and his supporters tell folks we have to make cuts, can't afford government workers, but then have no problem wasting $314 million dollars on killing 36 people. Now THAT is waste and abuse.

You have a source for that $314 million? Not a news story but a source? Still seems better than Obama spending $500 million to train about 5 Syrian rebels.

Team Obama has spent $500M to train ‘four or five’ Syrian rebels | New York Post

Since when do libs care about government spending? Giveusabreakalready.

I guess that depends on who those 36 people were and what they were doing. Speaking purely hypothetically, if they were in the final stages of building a tactical nuke they planned to use in Berlin would it have been worth the $300M to take them out?

Furthermore, it likely destroyed the cave network, along with any weaponry and supplies contained within. Libs can't see past the seething hatred.

While an argument or debate can be had regarding the benefit versus the cost of using the MOAB, it can not be done in any kind of legitimate and honest fashion if the only thing you're considering in the "benefit" category are direct kills.

Injury to the enemy, damage to enemy logistical capabilities (such as the using the tunnels to travel safely), potential removal of levels of leadership, and general psychological impacts of such an attack are just a variety of potential beneficial factors that would need to be assessed.

No Dammit!!!!!! TRRRRUUMMMMMMP SUUUUUCKKKKKS!!!!!!!! @#$%&*

Riiight.....and libs are saints.

I didn't vote for obama what's your excuse for defending trump.

But you promote liberal policies with every post. Since when do libs care about the national debt and spending. Explain yourself.

with quotes from me, what liberal policies am I promoting that have anything to do with trumps lies at hand?

plus notifying other cockroaches that the man holding a can of raid is ready willing and able to use it

What Trump lie is it that has anything to do with the US military dropping a MOAB in Afghanistan. Be specific.

You are confusing posters, it was a con poster that talked about me supporting liberal policies. I responded so if you don't like that complain to the con poster for the off topic remark brainy. For someone with your handle you aren't doing so hot with the reading comprehension. I would suggest you retreat like the good little trump supporter you are.

Funny how many cons didn't support obama on military action but circle jerk when it's trump doing it.
