Researching a book so I figured I'd ask the vets here.

1. If a 20 year service member dies of say, cancer, will the group insurance cover it? How much would it be and will the payment be one-time only?
2. Will the spouse of said deceased be eligible for the pension too? Will it be the full amount? And for the rest of her life?
3. If servicemember was disabled and discharged in the line of duty, would the benefits be the same or less?
4. Can a spouse live on these benefits without going to work?

Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks!
