Narrows down the reasons why Obama did this. I was a bit concerned that Carter avoided the Bowe Bergdahl issue. If Obama grants him clemency as well ...

What a surprise! A cheerleader for the GWOT and the status quo criticizes the commutation. Who woulda thunk that?
 
Not opposed to Manning decision. She seemed to be getting a lot of medical benefits not given to other prisoners and therefore taking resources away from them. She can stew in her own juices outside of prison. Glad he did not commute Bergdahl's sentence.
