If his administration gets its way, it would be even easier for future commanders in chief to take military action without approval from Congress....

When this happens, Democrats will be furious and shocked that a Republican could take advantage of all the precedents that Obama has created for him.

There are a rising number of precedents engeneered by liberals that will kill liberals, when they are on the other side and protection of Constitutional rights have been undermined.

Justabubba and I think redress were the only liberals I saw at the Rhine willing to acknowledge this danger. They get a buy in complaining about a Republican. Everyone else deserves mockery.

"DOOM!" howled the the doom-howler.

It's unquestionable that the ongoing conflict is a direct result of the Iraq invasion that Congress authorized. If they didn't put a clock on it, shame on them, and us for putting them in office.

Is anyone actually suggesting that Congress wouldn't authorize this conflict, if Obama asked? Is Congress going to vote against attacking ISIS, just to snub Obama?

The last actual congressionally declared war was Korea, if I'm not mistaken. Isn't that technically ongoing too?
 
Each President has grabbed more and more power. Congress need to put a stop to it.

I don't think eunuchs have the balls to do it. Korea was not a declared war but I believe it was initially approved by Congress. Later, Congress cut the funding. Libya was an war declared by the king.

Obama set the precedence with Libya. He totally bypassed congress. Then as an after thought made congress come up with a 2/3rds votes to stop his war or his overthrow of a legitimate head of state. Future presidents can always cite and do exactly what Obama did.
