2 dead, several others injured in shooting at Kansas City bar after Chiefs' win | TheHill

Two people are dead and several others are injured after a shooting outside a Kansas City, Mo., bar following the Chiefs' win in the NFL playoffs Sunday, police said.

A man and a woman were found dead when police responded to a shooting about 11:30 p.m., Kansas City Police said in a series of tweets. Authorities said the dead man is believed to be the shooter. At least 15 others went to area hospitals and three are listed in critical condition, they added.

I've always believed that allowing people to carry guns inside bars is ridiculous. Because this is what inevitably happens.

Which implies some level of qualification and control over who those security officers were.

Maybe they were passed out in a booth or out in their cars. Just being 'a good guy with a gun' doesn't make you an automatic savior. An intoxicated 'good guy with a gun' is as much a menace as the bad guy with a gun with a few scotches in him.

1)based on your past posts-you seem hostile to the entire idea of citizens being able to own guns and carry them publicly

2) Ohio changed its CCW laws about 10 years ago that allowed permit holders to be inside bars as long as they weren't drinking. We didn't see any increase in problems as a result
