Trump has touted the investment that Foxconn was pledging to make in Wisconsin. There was a ‘ground-breaking’ ceremony on 28Jun18, including golden shovels. Fast forward to May 2019 and the state of Wisconsin has approved the plan for the footings/foundation of the factory. What does ‘ground-breaking’ mean anyhow?

Today Trump touted his part in the ‘sale’ of the Lordstown, Ohio ex-GM plant to Workhorse, an electric truck maker. The sale is pending and the yearly sales of Workhorse for the 2018 year was less than 800K. 2017 sales were over 10 million.

What about that Carrier plant?

I remember reading about this not too long ago. It's funny that it's this clandestine operation where it looks like stuff is happening but nothing really is.

Wisconsin got taken for a ride on this one.

What a mess... Where is Trump and his people now? Not a word, not a peep about how Foxconn is and has screwed Wisconsin's taxpayers. And those taxpayers should remember it was the Republicans who not only got them into the terrible deal BUT then as Walker was going out the door the GOP passed a law to make it harder for the current governor to deal with Foxconn and make them play fair.

Foxconn factory jobs touted by Trump will not come to pass
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Electronics giant Foxconn reversed course and announced Wednesday that the huge Wisconsin plant that was supposed to bring a bounty of blue-collar factory jobs back to the Midwest — and was lured with billions in tax incentives — will instead be primarily a research and development center staffed by scientists and engineers.
