Why do many on this forum continue to deny the reality of racism's rising strength in our modern America? A plague we once thought was fading away from the national consciousness has instead begun to operate in the open.
Deny reality all you wish but when a political candidate with openly-stated views about 'others' is chosen by a majority of voters in his district, some of us see a problem.
It's not like the man wasn't well known in his community, he has a radio show on which he has said things like"To our knowledge, no member of the Missouri Republican Party, the House Republican Campaign Committee, or sitting member of the General Assembly recruited Mr. West to run for office; we find his statements to be vile, offensive, and out of line with our Party's values,"
Last week, we had an incredible show, and we were talking about, unfortunately, the influence Jews have in this country. And they have dual citizenship, and their allegiance — even though they're considered American citizens — their allegiance is compromised."

On his Monday morning radio show, Steve West promotes fanatical conspiracies about “Jewish cabals” that are “harvesting baby parts” through Planned Parenthood, that torture and molest children and that run the Republican Party.
On Tuesday he won the Republican primary for a Clay County seat in the Missouri House by nearly 25 points.
