Dennis Kucinich to formally announce campaign for Ohio governor next week

Well at least sherrod Brown is not facing josh mandel again.

Please see my post #25 to TD. Congressman Renacci is no slouch for the Senate, especially with Ohio trending Solid Red; 12-4 in the House for the GOP; both state chambers out of reach, even for 2020 remaps ...

Catching you outside of a certain forum is hard to do. Surprised Kasich left CD-12 Renacci open until the 08/07 special. The House is currently 239-193 with 3 vacancies. And what happened to Mandel?

How's Renacci playing for your Senate, since he did defend trump's use of the word that cotton/perdue have evolved on? Renacci quit his seat to run for the Senate, abandoning his constituents, which no other Senate candidate has done. Renacci aslso appears to be in the red and needs to fund-raise. He could use some of Mandel's handle .

I haven't really started paying attention. I am not a fan of Mike Dewine though he has done a few good things lately but he's a pimp. The guy I was hoping to beat him is now his running mate. I thought Kasich was the best chance to beat Sherod Brown

Speaking of Kasich, he"s easily the odds-on choice to be VP for a President Pence, though Romney would be a shrewd pick.

Not to be a ****hole or such, but I think it's past time for surrogate President Kelly, Pence, McConnellism and Ryan to pull the plug before the SOTU -- State of trump Unraveling.

And, why should you and I rise above temper tantrum trump's tweets with our discourse, when we read of "Dicky' Durbin tonight ???

I can’t imagine kasich wanting to run for senate, it would require too much kow-towing to trump.

not really

Kasich is joining the line forming to primary Trump in 2020. You have Flake,Kasich perhaps Ryan maybe even a Bush or Rubio. By 2020 the economy should be heading down after a long recovery and the Fed will have inverted the curve by 2019 in all probability. If the Democrats put up Warren, sanders or Harris the winner of the Republican primary should have a decent shot, so the line will be long.

Btw, the next two months are the pinnacle of the NCAA and HS wrestling seasons, with Ohio State behind Penn State in the top two. Nationals are at Cleveland, a tough ticket. I'll probably go pay computer and E$PN this year ...
