...isn't that a fair question? I mean if 50 years from now there was a "Michael Vick Day" celebration wouldn't you think "Uhh, what the hell?"

Mayor John Hamilton recently announced that are renaming two paid holidays for city workers -- in an effort to respect "differing cultures."

Columbus Day will henceforth be known as "Fall Holiday" and Good Friday will be known as "Spring Holiday."

No. You can call a holiday "happy hairy ass crack day" and I will only be thinking, so do I get off work on happy hairy ass crack day or what?

Oh come on, we both know that's not true. Veterans Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving? You're telling me these days don't hold any meaning to you beyond "day off work?"

Well he was an asshole who fathered the asshole that masterminded the idea of bringing slaves from Africa to the New World, because he felt the Natives his father enslaved were not pliable enough...

We should not be celebrating Columbus in any shape form or fashion. He didn't discover ****, He kicked off a genocide, and fathered pretty much the worse person to have ever lived. Counting Hitler...

And anyone that has an issue with a town changing names of religious holidays can pray to god and trust he will do the right thing. If the change goes through, well you have your answer.
