Iran’s supreme leader has warned his long-suffering people to prepare for more isolation from the West, reinforcing his confrontational message in the wake of last week’s air crash and America’s assassination of his favourite general.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led Friday prayers in person for the first time in eight years in a sign of the significance of the crisis the country is facing. Addressing a crowd at Tehran University, he made no concessions to his critics or to protesters who have filled the streets in the week since the Revolutionary Guard accidentally shot down a passenger jet, killing all 176 people on board.

Trump could have turned around the relationship with Iran for our mutual benefit. But he is a clown.

The only way to turn around Iran is to eliminate the religion.

Right. And I'm sure if Iran said the only way to turn Yasureoktoo around was to just nuke his podunk village to smithereens you'd agree wholeheartedly.

So how many tens to hundreds of billions do you want the USA to send Iran this time?

I wonder if even 1 in 100 Americans know that at one time one of the largest federal budget item was to pay extortion money to Muslim pirates?

Iran no longer has to worry about isolation. They have millions of leftist Iran fanboys in this country to keep them company

Jacksin,
He may be a clown to you. But to most Americans he did what no other president had the balls to do - stand up to the Revolutionary Guard and show them they can't indiscriminately kill Americans and allies of the U.S.
Obama gave them pallets of cash in order to pacify them. How did that work out?

What does Jeffersonian/Madisonian history have to do with anything?

Why don't you just send Trump again to tell everyone he's in love with Iran's leader. I mean that de-denuclearized north korea right? Oh wait, it didn't. Maybe Trump can suck the Iranian leader's dick this time around. I mean that is the foreign policy you support.

More lies from Fletch. Seems you are the ones supporting Trump's policies of saying he's "in-love" with dictators and supporting them. That's what you desire, for Trump to take a Dictators dick up the ass.

Two lies in one post.

1. Trump has only ever been approved by a minority of the population, so there goes the first lie.
2. Obama never gave Iran any "pallets of cash." There goes the second lie.

The agreement was promoted by Obama. But it included China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and the European Union — not just the United States and Iran.
The deal resulted in Iran getting access to some of its own funds — assets that had been frozen — it wasn’t cash given to Iran by the United States.
And $150 billion is a high-end estimate and the one with the least evidence to support it. The high-end estimate from the U.S. Treasury Department in 2015 was $56 billion, and outside analysts believed the number could be lower.

.

.
A Facebook post claimed: "Iran will be shooting at our soldiers with bullets, etc., purchased with the $150 billion Obama gave them." The 2015 Iran nuclear deal involved multiple nations, not just the United States under Obama, and did not involve the United States giving cash to Iran. It’s also debatable whether Iran ultimately got access to $150 billion of what were its own assets — which had been frozen in retaliation for its pursuit of a nuclear weapon — or whether the amount was much less.
What is correct is that largely because of the U.S. involvement, the deal resulted Iran getting access to likely tens of billions of dollars of its own funds, and it’s unclear how they might be spent. For a statement that contains only an element of truth, our ruling is Mostly False.

Why are you feeling tired from the ass whooping you are getting with me pointing out your lies? Feel free to take a nap then.

I wonder if even 1 in 100 Americans know that at one time one of the largest federal budget item was to pay extortion money to Muslim pirates?

Most don't know that, but Thomas Jefferson did.

It's a theocracy, a government ran by religion.

When Iranian citizens start hating the theocracy, what does the theocracy do?

It's gets a foreign bogeyman to threaten the country. That way the theocracy can use patriotism as well as religion to prop itself up.

Dumbest post of the day.
It's early though, you can still top it.

He's probably correct. The problem since the Iranian Revolution has been caused by forcing an extreme form of Islam on the Iranian people.

The young Iranians are pushing back against it -- and they're getting slaughtered in the streets for their trouble -- but they want to be like other nations. The women want to dress as they please, and homosexuals want to live.

The extremism has to go, and once it does, things will smooth out.

What does Jeffersonian/Madisonian history have to do with anything?

Most People don't know that the Non-believer, the Kufir, is obligated to pay the Muslim.
It was Muhammed who set the 20% rule for the leaders, but there is no way to tell if that is being followed.
They can just show you in writing that it exists.

The structure of Islam helps only the leaders, who live in scandalous wealth while the people suffer.

Be a good Muslim, read your Qur'an, try to figure it out, (heh, Heh), don't make waves or we will kill you.

The only way to turn around Iran is to eliminate the religion.

Eliminate the religious basis for a 4,0000-year old civilization? I doubt it.

LOLOL

Made no sense.

The religion is 1200 to 1400 years old, depending on how you calculate it.

The money returned to Iran was money on hand in the U.S. we had seized years before plus interest. What's the problem?

Trump loves every other dictatorship, why not Iran's dictatorship?

Snap. I remember now. They agreed to a deal with Obama.

We mustn't have any international deals signed by the black president now can we?

Same thing happened to the Paris Agreement. Obama signs, and Trump reneges.

That factoid doesn't fit in with the Brietbart conspiracy tale he swallowed.

Thank you for the laugh. I was feeling down until I read your post.
