Turkish forces execute female Kurd politician.

The American presence held back the Turks. Trump facilitated this when he withdrew the American troops. FULL STOP. He bertrayed the Kurds, increased the influence of Russia, and endangered our European allies, all in a day's work.

No denying that the Turks are blood thirsty and despicable.

So what? We never should have been involved in the first place. Have we not learned anything from decades of failed interventions?

Erodgan has been working with terrorists and trying to resurrect the empire. He is not an ally, let alone a friend, and its time for the U.S. to stop treating him like such.

And do what? Put some more americans in harms way to try and solve middle east problems? When will we learn?

Get our 50 nukes back and drop Erdogan like a bad habit.

So...it wasn't "Turkish forces"...rather terrorists "allied with Turkish forces".

Don't get me wrong. I'm not excusing this atrocity. I'm only pointing out the factually incorrect (lying) thread title.

It's a shame our fellow forum members will lie to the forum.

So hiring mercenaries From ISIS and Al-Qaeda that commit atrocities absolves Turkey of any responsibility? In what world is that true?

So we need to let Putin take over the world because he is so much better at it. What could go wrong with that? Did you know that when Trump talked about "winning so much you will get sick of it" that he meant Putin?

Putin is on a victory lap of the Middle East - CNN

No. It doesn't absolve Turkey of any responsibility...and I didn't say it does.

What part of "It's a shame our fellow forum members will lie to the forum." do you not understand?

Oh...wait...you lied, too.

Never mind...you are dismissed. (see my sig)

There is no difference between Turkey's surrogates and the Turkish Govt. Turkey DID send those terrorists into Syria and they were part of the "Turkish forces" so where is the lie?

Turkish forces didn't kill the woman. Terrorists who are "allied" with Turkey did it.

So you are claiming they were not part of the Turkish forces? How do you figure that?

They are under Turkish command and obey Turkish military orders.

They are not. They are allies.

Kurds have never been part of US forces. But they have been allies.

Same thing.

If the Kurds killed someone, you would never have said that US forces kill the person.

The Kurds were under U.S command so that is a lie. We would say U.S BACKED forces eliminated ISIS strongholds in Syria. So can we say Turkish BACKED forces raped and murdered that woman? Is that what you are fussing about?

Look at the thread title. Does it say "Turkish BACKED forces execute female Kurd politician"?

No...it doesn't.

Heck, the news article the OP linked got it right. So...the OP lied.

So splitting hairs are we? The word "backed" means they represent the Turks like the Kurds represented us when they died fighting ISIS. Turkey well knew that sending terrorists into Syria would result in atrocities like Trump knew when he gave the green light to Erdogan. He is equally to blame for all the horror his wagging the dog will do.

I'm not splitting anything. I'm just pointing out a lie.

You are the one who brought up "backed". Sorry if it didn't work out for you.

He turns to semantics when he has nothing. And he has nothing quite often. All the time actually

Every person in the United States that voted for Donald Trump has this woman's blood on their hands.

Good luck getting into heaven.

Well good thing I frequently wash my hands.

It’s a shame because I was just recently celebrating indigenous peoples day and the blood on hands would’ve been amazing while practicing Aztec sun rising rituals.

Hevrin Khalaf

Kurdish politician, other civilians ‘executed’ by Turkey-backed group

According to Kurdish and independent reports, Kurdish political leader Hevrin Khalaf was raped and executed on a road south of the town of Tal Abyad in northern Syria. Ms. Khalaf was Co-Chair of the Future Syria Party, a coalition of many ethnicities within Syria. The reports say that the execution of Ms. Khalaf and her driver were committed by the Islamist group Ahrar al-Sharqiya which contains many former members of ISIS and Al-Nusra (AQ). Ahrar al-Sharqiya is allied with the Turkish military conducting a massive ethnic-cleansing operation in the northern Syria Kurdish enclave of Rojava. Ms. Khalaf was shot in the head by these Erdogan-allied animals.
