An interesting article published by the Intercept regarding Syrian, Russian and Israeli cooperation in the area of Drone use.

How Russia Uses Israeli-Designed Drones in the Syria War

Why is the US not sanctioning Israel for its technical aid to the Syrio-Russian forces supporting the Assad Regime. Perhaps some sanctions on the Israeli leadership, an embargo on all US military sales to Israel and the seizures of any drones which come into western possession should be considered. After all if it's naughty for Iran to deliver oil to Syria isn't it also naughty for Israel to deliver drones to the very aggressive Russians who are using those same drones to help support the murderous Assad Regime?

So why no sanctions and embargoes on Israel when Iran, Syria, Russia and other regimes have ships seized and/or are under crippling sanctions and trade restrictions? Can anyone explain this situation adequately in order to resolve this apparent contradiction visible here? Will this become a US election issue, I wonder?

Cheers.

A former Mossad director admitted that Israel aids al-Qaeda in Syria, which we call al Nusra Front, to avoid implications that Israel works with the group responsible for 9/11.

Israel plays both sides, causes instability, and then demands the USA come in to exterminate the enemies they've created for themselves.

As to the very last question in your OP, the answer is a resounding No. Here in the USA, we're so distracted by women of color serving in congress, Trump's tweets, and 'concentration camps', that no real issue of importance will be permitted in any way to become a topic of national discussion. The state of national politics in the USA has become a hot mess, more in the style of the Jerry Springer show than Masterpiece Theater.

Got some bad news for you, bud.
I agree with you.

I believe the transactional logic is that 'someone' will supply drones or drone technology, and it may as well be Tel Aviv making the sale.

There are numerous international military weapon shows in which hundreds of manufacturers such as Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. (IAI) display their wares for sale.

Like most technology advanced nations, Israel sells 'export models' that are at least two generations removed from current IAF drones.

Now that the Kremlin has reverse-engineered the Israeli template and harvested the UAV technology, Russia manufactures her own ISR/BDA drones.

Well, I guess someone is going to be the world's rogue arms dealer, so it might as well be Israel. Why do they sell American nuclear secrets to China? Derp, well according to David Brooks, someone is going to put a knife in America's back, so it might as well be an ally, instead of an enemy..derp derp, sniffle.

Rogue Valley:

Using your cited transactional logic then someone is going to sell oil to Syria so why not the Islamic Republic of Iran? Someone is going to sell advanced missile technology to Iran so why not North Korea or the People's Republic of China? Someone is going to sell AAMs to Libya so why not Italian right-wing arms dealers financing a neo-fascist movement in Europe? Transaction logic is a crock of $h!t cooked up by people who do not want to be constrained from what they want to do.

The State of Israel is selling drones to Russia which is using them to support the Assad Regime and yet the State of Israel bombs Iranians when they bring drones and missiles into Syria. Somehow it's okay when the State of Israel does it but not when other states do likewise. So Myanamar can be punished for ethnicly cleansing Rakine State but no one sanctions the State of Israel for what it does to its neighbouring populations. Iran can be sanctioned and embargoed for having a civilian nuclear programme but no one tries to force the State of Israel to comply with international nuclear energy and weapons standards despite it having between 100-400 nuclear weapons including thermonuclear ones, ballistic Jericho medium-range and long-range missiles and nuclear capable cruise missiles on German-made submarines. Russia is sanctioned for destabilising, attacking and invading its neighbour Ukraine but the world stands by mute and neutered when the State of Israel destabilises, invades or attacks neighbouring states like Lebanon and Syria. Russia is sanctioned and vilified for allegedly (probably) assassinating an ex-soviet spy in the UK but the State of Israel frequently assassinates enemies in foreign states with no ill-consequences. There is a glaring double standard here and the State of Israel must now be held to account for their misdeeds and must not be protected by the USA, John Bolton or President Trump from international sanction and prosecution.

Don't get me started on interfering in American elections because that goes on too at a much more effective level than anything Riussia has ever managed to do to the USA.

So perhaps it's time to draw a line in the sands and to hold the State of Israel as accountable as the other states of this world rather than imposing this grotesque double-standard on the countries of the world except America and its close ally the State of Israel. It might also be nice to hold Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Philippines and China more accountable too but right now only the State of Israel seems entirely immune to consequences for its actions.

Cheers.

Once again you're lying and using your 'Joo bogeyman'.

Israel sells, Russia sells, the US sells, Britain sells, France sells, Sweden sells, Czechoslovakia sells, Vietnam sells, etc.

Every nation with a MIC sells weapons abroad.

Syria, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, et. al are sanctioned by Western nations.

Ergo, they prop each other up in the areas of beans, bullets, and benzene (the 3B's as they say in the military). Oftentimes via the barter of material goods, basing rights, UN voting outcomes, etc.
