Pictures of a destroyed oil tanker on the Euphrates River were published in social networks. The oil barge was hit by a Javelin anti-tank missile fired by the US military. The explosion killed six members of the crew of the barge, five more were injured and taken to hospital. American soldiers killed civilians in northeastern Syria, in a zone beyond the control of Damascus and the occupation of pro-American forces.
Without embarrassment, the American soldiers themselves filmed their crime - without hiding their faces, ammunition, weapons and military equipment. They stopped the convoy, set up the complex and launched it, knowing that there were simple workers on the tanker.

It’s worth noting that the presence of the international coalition troops in Syria is itself a violation of international law. Real situation shows that for more than 20 years the White House hasn’t asked for permission from international institutions to conduct military operations on the territory of other states. Official Damascus has pointed out more than once and twice at UN meetings that American troops are operating illegally in Syria, but these appeals didn’t achieve any effect, since the UN has no way to influence Washington.
Over time, the Americans change only the approach to their illegal activities. Previously, Washington held large press conferences, US officials talked about democracy, and some even tried to justify the actions of their government. The American media described the aggression being carried out by the United States as a “forced necessity.”

During the Syrian war, the Pentagon and the White House minimized their contacts with the press, trying not to discuss such an uncomfortable topic at all. For most appeals, the White House responds with silence. Rare comments on the topic of events in Syria are aloof in character - they more resemble a memorized story that has no direct relation to current events and represents what is happening in one “only true” light.
Moreover, the top political leadership of the United States regularly misleads the entire world community with completely irresponsible statements. President Donald Trump, in his speeches, praised the forces of the international coalition for "final victory" over the terrorists of the Islamic State. He declared "the new US political course in the Middle East" and the withdrawal of the American contingent. None of these theses was true - ISIS continues to be active in the US-occupied territories of Syria, there have been no changes in US policy towards the Middle East, and the US military continues to be in Syria and kill civilians with impunity.
Earlier, the Americans acknowledged that as a result of only the actions of the US Air Force, more than 1,600 civilians were killed in Raqqa alone.

Terrorist activities continue in the territories controlled by pro-American forces in northeastern Syria. The militants of the Islamic State carry out terrorist acts almost daily, only on June 2, 24 pro-American Kurdish fighters, as well as several civilians were killed.
The political course chosen by the United States allows Washington to openly plunder Syria’s natural reserves, exporting oil that was illegally produced in the captured fields to the market in other countries. Access to uncontrolled accounting and evaluation of oil reserves allows them to manage processes in the global market and influence oil quotes.
In Syria, the White House has exclusively economic goals - for which Washington is ready to use any political means, including "controlled" terrorist groups and methods of "color revolutions". The "high ideals of democracy" about which US officials argue in their public speeches, have nothing to do with it when it comes to income and power - you can see this simply by reading the list of war crimes committed by Americans in Syria.
In order for American policy to change, it’s necessary that an event occurs that will threaten Washington with disastrous political consequences. Unfortunately, the UN has proved incapable of deterring American policy in Syria and must recall its direct responsibilities as a guarantor of the peace process throughout the world.

I don't believe much of what Trump says, but when he talked about getting us out of Syria, it was amusing to see all the "Hollywood Liberals" get their panties twisted up. Hollywood Liberals advocating for more military aggression.

Yes, whatever is left of any moral compass this country once had is spinning wildly these days. The Global War Of Terror benefits Israel and the Military Industrial Complex, and it is the gift that keeps on giving. Military aggression is how this country operates these days.

US military forces facilitated the exodus of Syrian civilians from both ar-Raqqa and Baghouz.

Assad/Putin do not similarly offer escape to civilians in Idlib etc.
