Are you pro-rebel or pro-Assad ?

Pro freedom and anti gassing civilians, so pro non-terrorist rebels.

Well the non-terrorist rebels were basically a military dictatorship with Ass3ad (Another guy you probably never heard of) and the rebel side was made up of islamists since 2012 .

Islamist is a vague term. Most Muslims in Syria are not terrorists. The SNC coordinated relations with non-terrorist elements of the rebels.

Do you deny that Assad used chemical weapons on civilians to maintain his dictatorship?

I dont like Assad or the rebels, but if I had to choose I'd take the dictator over Al Qeda simply because he's the lesser of two evils.

I am a syrian christian and I know most muslims are not islamists , but an islamist is to me someone who advocates the creation of an islamist state (whom most rebels do) .

And yes , I deny that

Many rebels support a free state. I support them over a dictator that uses chemical weapons to murder women and children of his own nation so that he can maintain a dictatorship.

At this point I am having a hard time trusting or supporting any faction in Syria at the moment.

Supporting al-Assad suggests a continuation of a long-term multiple way civil war with no real end in sight and it probably means conceding to Russian interests.

On the other hand supporting any one of the pro-rebel groups (plus their various affiliates) suggests swapping one problem for another in terms of how that nation would be ruled going forward assuming anyone ever was able to take control.

The "Democratic Federation of Northern Syria" (or whatever they want to call themselves today) ends up nebulous as they are not necessarily fighting to overthrow al-Assad and in some regards impacts the Kurds (whom both Turkey and Iraq are watching for various reasons.)

This mess has no plausible "good" outcome no matter what happens but what we can suggest is this fight is not going to end anytime soon.

1- They don't exist (and even if they do they don't have influence inside Syria nor are they supported by the people
2- We can't confirm nor reject the claims that Assad used chemical weapons but in my opinion the argument for him not using the Chemical weapons is more convincing

I think the war is entering its last phase , most of Syria has been retaken except for Idlib and the kurds (who seek to rejoin the republic)

Plainly false. State propaganda. We have wikipedia, you know. You can't just lie and expect people to be ignorant.

Laughable. The evidence is undeniable.

Spare me the dictator's propaganda.

I support the ones who don't murder civilians.
That means not Assad/Russia/Iran/Hezbollah and not ISIS/al-Qaeda.

and Isreal, Saudi Arabia too.

Israel doesn't. Saudi Arabia doesn't either, but unlike Israel, US, UK, etc. they don't do as much to avoid hitting civilians in Yemen.
This thread is about neither though so I suggest you resist the monstrous urge to hijack it towards that route.

???? Can you give me the wikipedia page that says the "moderate rebels" have support inside the country , and show me the source (anyone can modify Wikipedia)

And can you provide the evidence ? Photos of children holding signs might convince you but they don't convince me , also Assad is not actively targeting civilians .

Btw if you want a contest of "many signs support me" then here you go

Israel doesn't.
Of course they do. All the time.

Saudi Arabia doesn't either,

They bombed and killed Yemeni children and their own journalist as well.

Well you started by mentioning Russia and Hezbollah and now you protest against including other countries? Very hypocritical.

Formed on 23 August 2011, the National Council is a coalition of anti-government groups, based in Turkey. The National Council seeks the end of Bashar al-Assad's rule and the establishment of a modern, civil, democratic state. SNC has links with the Free Syrian Army. On 11 November 2012 in Doha, the National Council and other opposition groups united as the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces.[508] The SNC has 22 out of 60 seats of the Syrian National Coalition.[509] The following day, it was recognized as the legitimate government of Syria by numerous Persian Gulf states.

That's the "SNC" I mentioned earlier. You're not aware of them?

Sources are provided in the paragraph.

Yeah, they don't. Getting killed while trying to invade a country is hardly being murdered, and the majority of those are terrorists anyway either by actual membership or by their actions.

Of course they do. All the time.

In case you haven't realized it this thread is discussing the Syrian war between Assad forces and the rebels. The Assad forces include Russia Iran and Hezbollah.
It is entirely relevant to mention them, as angry as it makes you, and unlike your positions there's nothing hypocritical in it.
You seem to simply be unable to resist the urge to throw such propaganda no matter the thread's subject.

As to your claims, they are stupid - since they expect to draw a line between civilians dying and an intention to murder them.
I'm going to end it here as it's a violation of forum rules. Feel free to continue this propaganda nonsense without me.
