Majority of Afghans didnt even know what 9/11 was when we invaded

The fact that the Afghan gov't of the time, the Taliban, was safeguarding the group and it's leader responsible for the 9/11 attacks wasn't good enough?

The Taliban didn't want to hand them over, so we had every right to **** them up.

Using your logic, we should've attacked the UAE, Egypt and Lebanon, since some of the hijackers were from those countries.
 
Of course they have no idea what it means... It was all in the name of Western corporatism, siezing the oil and land. Also America being the worlds superpower and invading under the guise of "democracy" and "freedom"... Yet time and time again democracy and freedom just don't work (neither does dictatorship with human beings) Unfortunately :/.
Although I believe once logical A.I take control of the world everything will be great and peaceful. No fundamentalists nor illogical or irrational people will even be allowed to exist. Thus only logical and rational reasonable people with reasonable views will be able to have political discourse and contribute to human society.

Not sure what the point of this observation is, but low awareness of world events and the actions of their government isn’t entirely surprising, nor does it insulate the government or the population from being attacked when the government lends support to those that attack the United States (which should be pretty obvious)

Who the Taliban or the nation as a whole? Bear in mind there are parts of the country where people still don´t know the Americans ever invaded (most are illiterate and televisions were illegal under the taliban). As this is why our reckless disregard for civilian causualities was such a problem. Many were not fighting us for political reasons, they were fighting us because we showed up and started to blow things up.

I protested this back then, and I still argue it to this day.

IMO it was a misdirection, using American anger to guide us into a war that never needed to happen, all to get Bush Jr. re-elected for a second term.

We could have simply targeted the actual Al-Qaeda organization in surgical search and destroy missions; saving lives, money, resources, and preventing the whole Middle East ISIS/migrant mess we find ourselves in today.

Obama never assassinated OBL. If so they would have shown his mugshot all over the news of his dead body. They flushed the dead body of some old man with too many computers into the ocean and said it was OBL. They NEEDED some sorta win.

The real OBL was prolly droned striked 10 years ago and a pile of dust under some dune mound. And it was prolly an accident they prolly didnt even know it was him.
